It seems that in the US we get a fairly limited engine selection as compared to our Euro brethren...thus I'm presuming that the forthcoming 2.2L for the Z4 will not be available in the US- anyone have any info that would point otherwise?

Why would you want underpowered cars like the europeans get?

I'm sure the 2.2i will be exported.....all of them will be - none for the US. Some countries (Japan for sure) tax on car size and engine displacement. I'm sure the 2.2 is for those markets.

Not saying I would *desire* it over the larger engines...has its benefits though 1) more gas efficient(I would presume) 2) cheaper 3) my Z4 wouldn't have the smallest engine in it :)
