For those of you that built there turbo motors rather then using a head spacer and gasket kit like AAs to lower compression, which head gasket are you using and what are your impressions on it?

Custom...very similar to BMP's 1.8mm metal headgasket. If it was my car, thats what I would go with.

Wes, what does the HG you are using bring the compression to??
and any info on where you got it done??
AA is all out of HG and i need one soon to get my CR to8:5:1

I don't believe in lowering compression with headgaskets. I am running a metal 1.8mm headgasket. It was made for Mechtech by a guy in Australia. Quality looks to be top notch. Other than that, I have no clue. If i can get 5 or so people interested in a headgasket, I know of some custom manufactures that may be able to do it. My car is down right now, so I could pull it off and have them make a copy of it??? I'll think about it.
