All,

I went there for the first time this weekend and it was awesome. We are planning on having a small meet there this coming weekend. Depending on how busy they are we plan on meeting, running a few heats (1 heat = 10 minutes of racing), and then going out for lunch and drinks.

What I like about this place is... they have a lap timer so you can compete to see who has the fastest lap, avg lap time, etc.

When: Saturday Nov 8th
Where: TBC Indoor Racing (http://www.tbcindoor.com)
Time: 1:00PM

Everyone is invited. People from HAI are going and I am going to invite a few friends from work.

It will be a good time to get out and have some fun. Hopefully the weather will be nice so we can showcase all the nice cars.

See you all there.

Sounds fun. We had a few meets there last year.

The best day for TBC is monday, since they have a special that day. I believe it is 1/2 price or something like that.

Yep 1/2 price on Mondays.

Have you guys driven the carts out at Bandimere? Basically the same price and they put TBC to shame.

We took my kid and a few of his buddies there for his 13th birthday party. We used their 6.5HP rental karts with old used-up racing tires and it was still a blast!

The kart track is at the north end of Bandimere's lower (east) lot. It's .6 miles long with several interesting turn complexes. My lap times were around 55-58 seconds (my first time ever in karts). They run you for ten laps, including one warm-up and one cool-down, which means you get a time sheet with eight laps. The sheet also shows the best times of the other people in your group.

Contact the folks at Action Karting (http://www.actionkarts.com) for prices, schedules, etc. The rental price includes a skid suit and gloves, also helmet/head sock and horse collar if you don't have your own.

TBC Indoor Racing is OK during the winter, but if you can go outdoors it's much better.

Don't forget to mention that you can drive their 28hp karts for a little more $$- I think they were hitting 60+ mph on the back section of the track.
