Anyone recommend a shop in either north SF bay area or sacramento to weld in some E36 rear sway mount reinforcers?

I called Magee Motorsports in Sonoma and they were booked up for at least another week :(

Dude, any muffler shop should be able to do it for about $10. Look for an independent shop, not a meineke.
I have a guy in Dublin who rocks and will weld just about anything for a really cheap price.

Ask around a bit. I find with small jobs like this, if you see a shop, just stop in with cash. If you call ahead and make an appointment, you'll pay more and the car will be there longer. Good luck!

Hey Erik, I just realized that the B&B triflow cat back that I have has a leak on the muffler, probably 3 inches long, on the section facing the front of the car. Do you think your guy could weld that? How much do you think he'd charge? started when I heard a vibration that I thought was a loose nut, turned out it wasn't.

If thats all it is, I am sure it wouldn't cost more than $20 or so.

TCDesign in SJ. Tony is an awsome guy and pretty flexible on scheduling.

I know its a bit of a trip, but hell i made it from Vallejo!

Also, ABC muffler in Benicia is a good indy shop. I had Jeff do my custom exhaust work. Top notch guys.

Tone, I live in San jose, so, it's not a drive at all, and actually, recently met him, was talking about the possibility of a roll bar, but didn't think of him for this. Wonder what he'd charge for something like this, don't think it'd take all that long. Hopefully it can be welded. I'll give him a call tomorrow.

Tony would be a great choice for that as well, I am sure he'd be reasonable too
