Good luck and stay safe.

I went through one of these back in Florida in the 80's, it is nothing to take lightly. Homes can be rebuilt, stuff can be replaced. Life can't.

I'm a non-believer, but my prayers are still going out to those of you in the danger areas.

My g/f evacuated yesterday from her lake arrowhead home, but she couldnt take her dogs with her and when she came back to get them they would not let her go up the hill to her house, it sucks. Best wishes to all whom are harmed with these fires.

Yeah, I live in Stevenson Ranch of Santa Clarita and my family started to pack up and get ready for an evacuation. Thank God that everything has calmed down and i hope things stay this way. For those who lost homes and all i give my prayers.

Good luck to everyone.

Fortunately for me, I live in the Central-Eastside of the Valley and do not have to worry about this. Although we still have good air to breath, we are getting a lot of ash.

However, I do feel for everyone (last time I checked on Channel 11, 1,100 homes have burned) and hope we have already seen the worst. This is a terrible time and I will send a prayer out to all those affected and in danger.

If any of you or someone you know has lost their home and needs help relocating, even if they are located outside of the San Fernando Valley and it's surrounding areas, please let me know as I will be more than happy to lend a hand. With the Century 21 network of Realtors around the globe I can find them the best agent for the area in minutes.

Whether they would like to move elsewhere to get away from all this or need a place to rent while all this settles or because they lost everything, I can definately help. I will work hard and do whatever it takes to ensure a smooth transition and get them discounts on services whenever I can.

Also, if work needs to be done on homes, I know a great contractor that does excellent work.

I hope I do not sound as if I am taking advantage of the situation but I do realize there is a need for help and some people may not know their options or may need to move immediately because they have no place to live. I am making myself available to anyone needing information regarding anything in housing.

Please e-mail me anytime at sescalante@sfvhomes.com, PM me, or simply post here.

Please be careful out there. God bless all of you.

My prayers go out to all the familes that are still evacuated or coming back into their communiites and finding out the destruction that this fire has caused.

Luckily our community was spared but my car is still packed with my important belongings. Once i saw the flames head southward of tierrasanta I didn't hesitate to pack up and bone the f*ck out.

hunting is super gay. if you want to hunt, move to pennsylvania.

no school for 2 days [so far], that's a good thing. but when several of your friends are close to evacuation, and you have to pick up one of your friends 5 million cars cause his house might burn down, it really sets in.

I hope none of you have been directly affected by this fire. Please stay safe.

I had some people contact me regarding FEMA information and how they should go about dealing with their insurance and finding a new home. Some insurance companies have already been giving people the run around regarding their fire damage claims.

It's sad that some people have had all their money invested in their home and yes they made it out ok, but the largest part of their assets was their home. Now they have no place to live but are staying with their friends and family until all this blows over. Some are finding places to rent while their homes are rebuilt or at least until they get word from their insurance companies regarding what route they should take.

Remember, we all have options and I am making myself available to any housing questions sans obligations.

Stay safe and keep those spirits high as their is always sunshine after the rain.:)

yeah i feel bad for the people who have been victims of arson, and fire disasters. the guy who started the fire in san bernardino should be found, and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. it making the entire state of California horrible to breathe air coz of all of the fires going around. I hate it

But when your friend with those 5 million cars thanks you tons and tons, that should at least makes things a bit better.

Thanks again Pasha.....you and Jeff let me have one less thing to worry about.

Besides, it all turned out good anyway. I didn't have to evacuate, and you got to drive another e30 and realize how nice all your torque is!
