you can get the REAL euro clears and tail lights. Have you driven it on the Autostrada yet? how fast?

eurospec1
10-27-2003, 10:16 AM
once again thanks for the compliments, yonkers those are real euro clears on the car, i bought them from walloth&nesch. the exhaust is a universal muffler from tsudo, and it sounds great, very deep rumble, no rice sound! as for the autostrada, my car has seen the better side of 220 kilometers per hour on occasion, fun fun!
attila, i have been searching for a 323 for the rear discs for a while now, unfortunetaly italy has a crazy tax on any car with an engine bigger then 2 liters, so there are very few 323's here, belive me i have looked!

MattE21
10-27-2003, 12:07 PM
any ideas where t purchasse the tsudo?
oh, and sorry for the wait, i need a few more days onthe sig.. school has been busy, (im registering for classes for next semester)

no prob on the sig, take your time. as for the muffler, i bought it of ebay for 39.99, best buy on the internet if you ask me, i really like the sound!

MattE21
10-27-2003, 01:52 PM
ebay is great!
was the install straightforward? how did it mount up?
or did you take it to a muffler shop:dunno

eurospec1
10-27-2003, 05:35 PM
i took it to a muffler shop, and they did a great job! they cut the strap off the original muffler that had the hanger tabs on it, then they welded the strap to the new muffler, so it still hangs from the rubber o rings, then they just made a pipe to connect up to the stock pipe, very easy to do, only took the shop about 2 hours, i highly recomend it over buying an expensive pre made exhaust

MattE21

approx cost of the muffler shop to do it?

Wow lol, i took a look at the forum today, after so many years and i see someone drug up an old thread of mine!

Matt is correct, i did do the S14 swap, and loved it! I used to have some videos of it on the streets in Sicily, but alas i cannot find them anymore.

Here is a picture of my current car launcing at Pinks all out in Gainesville and at my house. I have spent the last 5 years study'ing the ways of LS1 tuning, and have recently opened my own shop in Jacksonville Florida, fun times for sure.

We also have recently converted quite a few Miata's to LS1 power, so my interest has defenetily been piqued again to get into an E21. I am thinking about a 6.2 liter turbo LS3, keep your eyes open for that one soon :devillook

^ Wow, that would be insane.

Very cool that you got into tuning the LS1 and opened a shop. I'd love to do the same one day.

My Saab (basically a Trailblazer SS) has an LS2 in it. Great motor to work with. Really responds to mods to make some pretty big power.

Good luck with your shop....

We have a 750 RWHP twin turbo LS1 Miata, im sure the E21 is stronger then a Miata :)
