for the part my order originating on bimmerforums was okay. all uuc items arrived super later but not UP's fault. The only complaint I had was Wes' communication and failure to ship one of the paid for ssk upgrades. he told me he would on two seperate occasions. He never delivered and I quite emailing (didnt they remove a phone number from the site?). Just purchased it through UUC for 25 bucks.
All in all with the poor communication and failure to follow through (w/2 ssk upgrades) have soured my experience despite the great prices. I would not do business there again. but the prices quite good (+/-25%off shipped), although I never saw m3motorwerks price list.

Price isn't everything! I'm consistently amazed at how much people on BimmerForums shop on price and then are disappointed with the service they get. M3 motorwerks doesn't charge the lowest prices out there -- someone will probably always beat us on price -- but we DO have excellent pricing and a very, very high level of customer service even if we can't always deliver product immediately.
Is $20 worth the hassle? Did you actually end up saving anything in the end? Were you totally happy with your purchase when everything was said and done? The answer to all these questions is usually "no" when someone goes to a second-rate vendor.
I'm not trying to say, I told you so, just telling you what my experience has been.

it's human nature.
You never click the "buy it now" for $100 when the starting bid is only $50 and no one has bid.
i have now experienced "the vendor shaft"and will not shop for th lowest "bottom of the barrel" price. :). i wil however continue to shop all item throughly before purchasing

I hear you. I've done it too. I think everyone has. I always consciously pay a little bit more than the bottom rung when I shop on the net these days as long as the product is presented better. Usually, if someone spends the time taking care of a nice website and an easy-to-use interface, it means they'll take care of me. :)
Not always, but I've found that to be largely true.

Let me offer a little explanation. PLEASE do not blame U.P. Motorsports for any of the actions taken. EVERYTHING was because of me. I am very sorry. I have very little association with U.P. anymore, and the company has undergone MANY changes to better suit the customers. I was the main cause, and I made the decision to do other things. I CAN NOT recieve U.P. mails, so if you have been emailing me there, I am very sorry. I know you needed those items, but for one reason or another I put it off. What can I say other than I am sorry!!!! It takes balls to take blame and hurts me more than anything to have my name scared in the book of BMW guys for a long time. I just want it to be clear that U.P. has no association with what has/had happened. You can contact me personally at the number provided, and I will be happy to explain details better, and what you can do. The company is NOTHING like it used to be, in fact I would challenge former customers to call Max Ogburn at (336) 345-0996, IM him at upmotorsports1, or email him at mogburn@upmotorsports.com to see how he can help you.
Thanks,
Wes

heres the deal
you can choose 2 of the following: price/quality/service. Only two - its pretty hard to get all 3. Same with cars, reliable/cheap/fast. Choose 2, cant pick 3.
