It looks stainless steel tho. Whats the weight?

looks like 20hp max?

Wait a minute, something is funny w/ the dyno. Why is the max stock hp so low? It should be 270-280 hp stock.

I believe the weight is like 20lb. I forgot.

According to the dyno, it seems that the max RPM is 7000. Would that be the reason of not achieving 270hp for the stock run?

Either that or its not an e46m3.

when people have trouble dyno'ing the e46m3, it usually cuts out at 6500 rpm.

oh.. i'm pretty sure it's a E46 M3.

it's a 2001 6-spd...

maybe i should contact them and inquire about the dyno.

No the reason for the low dyno is that it's a dyno dynamics dyno.

The dyno dynamics dyno usually runs about 20-30 hp lower than dynojets. This is due to the fact that it puts a restrictive load on the car equivalent to it's weight on the street.

So that 250 hp in the dyno is what the E46 M3 is actually putting on the street, not the wheels. It's not your typical inertia dyno.

Here is some more info:

Dyno Dynamics (http://www.dynocomp.com/The%20Dyno.htm)

On a dyno dynamics dyno, my car put out 260 hp. When I tested it on a dynojet it ran right around 285 hp.
