Patrick, you do have one of the cleanest cars(especially for a 92') I've ever seen.

You want to borrow my car for a month or so? :)

We've already discussed this.....

Jumping up and down on my sunroof is not a "fix".

Since we are all from the St. Louis area, I have a question for you all. My radiator has started to leak a little and I want to get it replaced, since the car has 80,000 miles. Do you know of any place that could perform the service for a reasonable price? I know one guy from St. Louis has his personal garage, but since I couldn't really offer any help other than paying him in cash, I was wondering if there are any BMW mechanics.

I was thinking about getting an aluminum one, like the zionsville one. Any suggestions?

I'd be glad to help, I have work space(in the ghetto). It should be a breeze, but I haven't done it yet.

How long would an install take? I am assuming that you need to drain the radiator, disconnect the hoses, and take off the bumper. I am guessing that I will need new hoses with the radiator. My only real concern is whether or not the aftermarket radiator will need any modification. All the ones I have seen say they will just drop in, but I was still concerned.

Where do you live at? I live in Ofallon but would be more than willing to drive. Even if I order the parts now, I would be able to install them until Christmas break because I am at school (Truman). That would be around the 12th of December.

My email address is TMK439@truman.edu. Send my your email address and we can talk somemore.

Thanks,
Tim

Truman, eh? I've been up there a few times. All I can say is Pancake Shitty's is the best thing there. How long you been going to Truman?

I'm a Sophmore. Yeah, it's a pretty week town. Pancake City is decent though. Living in the dorms is really starting to suck, but at least next year I'll have a house.

Ponq,

I'll email you by monday.

I've been looking around for radiators and found the aluminum one from zionsville and the S54 radiator. I think the S54 one is cheap than the aluminum one, which is $460. Do I need to get new hoses or claps for the new radiator?

I also need to order a Bentley manual before I do any wrenching.

Thanks

I don't know about the hoses or clamps, take a look at their condition, if they look fine, they probably are.

You should get a Bentley, but I have one if you can't get one immediately.
