HARRISON MOTORSPORTS

Steer clear of these guys. i have never before received such poor customer service. DAVID HARRISON is morally compromised and a completely unprofessional. i will never again even entertain the idea of buying from harrison motorsports and david harrison. despite his humble demeanor he is a coward and ethically devoid.

in brief.

purchased one item from harrison via telephone after seeing their website (which said call for prices). someone at Harrison Motorsports who David says has since been let go shipped the wrong item. I ship it back at MY expense ($60 b/c it was large and heavy). He did not offer to split the return cost or send a call tag. FU*KING A**HOLE. David Harrison blamed the "ex-employee" for the misship yet failing to account for this employees actions while he was employed. Real piece of sh*t.

I ship it back then read a little further on Harrison site 10-15% discount for CCA members. I choose to double down and order two more items to recoupe my lost $60 for the misship. I should have ate the 60 bucks and had him credit my card the charged total.

All 3 item are on backorder and David Harrison fails to give me an exact total. Countless unreturned phone calls and emails over the course of a couple of months.

Items take 2-3 months to arrive. David blames the manufacturers.

David Harrison did how ever promptly shipped all items when the threat of legal action was taken.

In total I think he took my order and shipping info three or four times over 3 months yet charged my card promptly. The last time being when I threatened legal action. Draw your own conclusions.

I have the email to match this sequence of events:mad:

didnt know this guy was a supporting vendor. just say his add so i post my exp. PM me or post with ?'s

What did you order? I know that David is a UUC reseller, but I've heard that a few UUC products have been backordered for quite a while.

I haven't purchased online from Harrison Motorsports, but I did take my car to his shop and was satisfied with the work.

David occasionally posts here - I would like to hear his side of the story.

I've had a mixed experience with Harrison Motorsports, primarily with their old location.

I needed to put new bumpstops and dustcovers on my rear shocks after putting my Koni's on, and had to wait until I was at school. E-mailed back and forth with David, and since I was a BMW CCA member he let me come down on a Saturday to have them look at it. He let me use his air tools with the car on the lift for free, and checked the air bag light with diagnostic tool. Didn't charge me anything, but said "I just let you do about $300-400 worth of work for free. Have a nice day."

Later in the spring (that was in August) I needed to get the side window trim (upper, rain drip guard) replaced, along with the black rubber seals around the bottom of the windows. E-mailed back and forth, sent pictures to identify exactly what needed to be done. The day before I am planning on going down (and skipping Friday classes to do so, it was a 2 hr drive each way), I call just to make sure they have the parts and everything is all set up to go. The secretary doesn't have me down in the book, she lets me talk to the mechanic. He has no idea what work I'm talking about, he doesn't have the parts in and Friday is a short day for them because they were helping out at the Peachtree Chapter Driving School at Road Atlanta. He says I could reschedule but it would be a week or two. On top of this, David is unavailable for comment because he is on vacation. I was very disappointed as I had been looking forward to getting a window leak cleared up, had emailed with the owner (David) back and forth, had a confirmed time and date from him, and the mechanic has no idea I'm coming, and the parts aren't there.

So, mixed experiences for me...

I too would also like to hear his story. I have all of this well documented. saved emails( the ones that were never returned) and our saved email transaction.

NONE OF IT WAS UUC. but i too waited months for UUC stuff from another vendor. the difference is Whacky Wes communicated well. (Despite failing to ship on of the SSK upgrades paid for in an old GB)

damn, he really hooked you up the first time.

The second is more similar to my exp., poor/lack of comm., and failure to follow through (w/o threat of legal action).

And just to conclude, I ended up waiting and taking my car to a shop in my hometown over the summer to fix the side trim - simply wasn't worth it to drive 4+ hours total for something that I wasn't positive would be at the shop.
