I want to import another E36 M3 from the US. I have looked to see if the M3 is admissible and it is. So, what do I need to do?

I think all you need to do is pay the tax (provincial) and maybe duty rate at the border and then get it registered in your province. If you search the Canada Customs website there's a page that tells you about importing cars in Canada.

hellrotvic is right, you will have to pay tax at the border. You'll probably end up paying duty on it as well because the car was built in Germany.

Once you've brought it into Canada, it has to pass two inspections before you can register it: "out of province" and "out of country." In order to pass these inspections, you'll need to have day-time running lights installed.

Then you can register it. You'll need to show the form from customs, proof of inspection, and a bill of sale.

okay, thanks everyone. I'm going to get the car outside my province but in still in Canada. I never realized the GTA has so many ///M's for sale at such a good price.
