Can you post a picture of it open? I wanna see what you can put in there. The cup holders are hood for cans, but when you got a slurpee, they lack :)

I haven't installed it yet... It will be installed sometime this week. I'm debating to either put it in the factory recommended glovebox location or putting it somewhere in the center console under the arm rest.

How much did the tray cost? Can you get it from the dealer?

Kev-
i just picked up that XM Roady at the local CC. twas on sale for $107. what a deal.... Additionally, the unit is quite nice and the antenna is about the size of half of a credit card and only about 1/4" thick. i also noticed that it had better reception than my pioneer 903.

what dealer did you get your tray and aux-in from? the local dealers are loco. besides i'd prefer to deal with comeone who has already seen the piece and knows what they are talking about.

Paul from South BMW. He knew exactly what I was talking about. He is "the man".

Thanks Kev for the connection. I will call him up in a little while for these parts. These two things have been on my TO-DO list for quite a while. One last question... where did you get your clear reflectors? Painted don't look quite right on my silver car.

Cool...

I got my clear reflectors from www.MMS-Tuning.com. You'll have to call them for the exact part number.

How did they fit? did they just pop in, or did you have get out the dremmel and work with them for a while? also after you do the install of your aux-in let me know how it goes.

The euro tray just pops in.

The reflectors required dremeling. The first set of reflectors I did took about 10-15 minutes so I didn't over dremel. After I had done my 6th set (yes, 6 seperate installations)... I can normally have it done in 2-3 minutes.

why have you had to do so many? are you doing them for others or do you have to get new ones often...

doing them for others... mine are fine.

Would you be interested in doing a pair for me? How much?

can't, i've found that each vehicle requires a different amount of sanding/dremelling of thereflectors to get them to fit.

it's not an exact science. it's more like a dremel a little, test fit, dremel some more, test fit, dremel a little more, force 'em in.

"force em in"... Scary. I figured they would all be the same.

I do believe it is the reflectors and not the bumpers tho. The reflectors are not the best quality in the world. When you take out the OE reflector and compare it to the clear reflector you can notice a difference in quality, size and shape.

The OE ones come out easy, just push down and pull out from the top.

I noticed that your sig now says that it is "Installed." Was it as easy as removing the trim, unscrewing the cd-player/nav screen, pulling it out and then plugging the aux-in into the back of the screen? also where did you put the mini phono jack?

Sorry, didn't see it the first time...

My install easy? No... The trim had to come out, the AC vents had to come out, the AC controls and button row and ash tray had to comeout, the NAV screen had to come out (not sure what happened there, I went to go grab a coke). I came back, and we started running the wire and we put the AUX in jack right next to the angel eye switch.

Wow...seems not so very easy huh. Do you have any pics of the install? If not, oh well I guess that I can get some when I d my install. How long was the cable on the aux-in adapter. (mounting location options).

I'll take pictures of it today hopefully. However, if you saw my eurotray photos, you can see the angel eye switch... it's located just to the right of the switch.

I've seen other people install it on the button row as well as in the glove box (the recommended install location). Seeing as how I plan on getting a SAT radio unit in the future, I figured I'd run the wire down the console now this way I can take the audio out from the SAT unit and run it directly to the AUX input.

How long did it take to do the install? And by the pictures, I meant during the install, almost like a DIY.
