Hi everyone!
This is my first post in this forum. I will be getting my '03 Convertible tomorrow but could not resist until then!
First "mod" for me would be to "hardwire" my Valentine one detector to the car... has anyone done this? I had done it on my Audi, and wired it to an empty fuse slot...
I will post picks/impressions when I take delivery of my baby!

Congrats man... make sure you bring it out to the BMW meets here in Florida... there is one on October 25th off the 826 & 47th avenue.
As for hardwiring the Valentine One... piece of cake. Grab a 3M wire tap... tap the blue/green wire in the headliner (that wire should be connected to the homelink system harness). Run the ground to the screw located in the headliner... boom, you're done.
Took me about 15 minutes... 12 of which were to find the harness.

Thanks for the reply... however, I think I will have to tap into a different wire since I have a convertible...
How did you know I am in South Florida???

Your location said you are located in Miami. Oh... I forgot you have a convertible, so I am not sure which wires you would use.

I got a Carbon black convertible with cinnamon interior. Only options are the xenons... I love it!!! I will post pics this weekend!!

Great! I am looking forward to your photos, as I have a CarbonBlack/Cinnamon 06/M3 Conv on order (ED pickup 7 Oct @ Munich)
I have seen photos of the coupe, but can't find any of convertible. I did see one in a dealers showroom in Dallas a couple of months ago, but didn't get any photos..
