TireRack carries a 15x8 Kosei K1 Racing wheel which is listed at 14.5 pounds. I have seen specs online for a 15x7 Kosei K1 Racing wheel that has its weight listed at 13.5 pounds.

Two questions:

1) Is there a 15x7 Kosei K1 Racing wheel and is it available?

2) What are the recommended tire widths for the 15x7 wheel versus the 15x8 wheel?
I have a 1988 M3 and want to run 225/50-15 tires.

I have a 1988 M3 and want to run 225/50-15 tires. .

The 15x7 Kosei is a 4-lug and fits the E30 325/318 series cars. I have a set of these for my 89 325is with 225/50-15 Kumho Victoracers.

As far as i know it's not available in 5-lug for the M3. The 15x8 however is a 5-lug and is a direct fit on the E30 M3.

Both the 7" and 8" versions can easily take a 225/50-15.

Randy is on the money. I do have the 15X8 wheel for the M3 at 149.00 each and they weigh 14.5 lbs.
