Will tires in the size 245/40-18 fit on my OEM 18" E46 M3 wheels with no problems? Looking at a set of winter tires in this size for the OEM wheels, since the car will not go out all the time in snow, but will be out in the cold, and better safe than sorry!

Isn't the OEM setup staggered?

If the OEM E46 M3 wheel is 8" or wider, a 245 will fit. My friend has 245/40/17s on his stock E36 M3 wheels which are 8" wide, I believe. Since I think the E46 comes with 8.5", you should be fine.

What was the stock size?

The OEM fronts are 8" and the rears are 9". I'm looking for all one size because I can't seem to find a decent snow tire that will fit the front and back. I don't want to have different tires, or subpar snow tires.
