In the wake of the success with our first BFC softball game, I was thinking it might be fun to also gather for a football game sometime.... since it's football season and all.

Just a little brainstorming here -- nothing formal.

Sorry, but the last time I played tackle football w/o pads I broke my collar bone after getting tackled by half the other team. No thanks....that $hit hurt. But I agree.....flag/touch is boring.

Well i would play football but would rather play soccer since thats what I'm best at and Ultimate Frisbee is an old favorite of mine as well!! (no matter how ghey some of you think it is)

well obviously my huge stature has to be taken into account. it wouldn't be fair to put me on one team or the other since i would clearly just dominate the field.

imho ultimate frisbee gets boring pretty fast but it can be fun.


golf... lets just say i can throw the ball farther than i can hit it (thats the last time i played golf which is probably 2 years ago and thats pretty pathetic considering i grew up from age 5-16 in a golf community)

Even though I'm not of this region I suggest drunk kick-ball or dodge ball. The same games most of us played in elem school. Nothing beats those two games while enjoying some beers or a cocktail. Just make sure theres a few designated drivers :)

Guys I think we need to get a little back on topic. Of course i'm the hard ass.

i went to the batting changes today. i was really stroking the ball well(lot better than i hit at the game) intill the 2nd to last pitch i ripped a big blister on my thumb.

How about no frisbee golf, just normal golf. We should have a bfc golf day or something also. Get like 4 or 8 people and go play a round.
