BMW Motorsport built an M3 pickup identcal to this one to use as a "parts runner" back in the day. I don't think the original had M3 running gear though, it had a non-M motor. This is probably the same one.

Yes this is that same one.

It doesnt have a E30 M3 motor.

I did however forget what it is running....

I just thought it was a cool pic.....

prolly an eta mill for running parts around, the torque would be very nice to have if they ever loaded the back up with parts.

My understanding is that it is photochopped. Some photoshop pro has no time on his hands, I remember that someone read the digimark and it was chopped... He was saying that it is very good though, even the reflection on the ground has been modified... Someone then went on to say that they had seen that car in Germany and it was not a truck. I like to believe it's fake myself.

 dude, its not fake.

well if you need a hauler and that has enough capacity to meet your needs, what better choice? I'd like to drop an S14 engine into it and go for a spin ... :)

IF you have a junker E30 laying around, and some money and time, would be kind of a cool thing to do... I'd love to have some sort of pickup thing... doesn't need to carry a lot of weight, just a few messy parts of dogs or something.

Anyways, interesting.
