i ordered some new hood shocks because my hood won't stay up. i heard that it is hard to install them. there are clips on the old ones and i need to keep them so i can connect the new ones. please help me if you had any experience with hood shocks.

Those clips are pretty fragile. If you can, I would suggest getting the 4 clips from your dealer for the swap.

I had to take off my hood shocks, but I never had to put them back on. Instead, I installed a CF hood.:)

can i just get the clips from the dealer? i ordered the hood shocks already somewhere else. how do you take off the clips? is it possible to reuse them?

I just cramed a flathead screwdriver under the tabs and popped the clips off. They appear reusable, but I wouldn't.
I would go to the dealer and get new clips.
