My turn signal light in the front went out I think, or maybe a loose connection somehow. Can anyone tell me how I can get to that light from under the hood. I probably need a new bulb or just tighten the connection. Can anyone give me a DIY guide or something. Thanks a lot.

2001 is an E46 right? I think then your turn signal is integrated with the headlight right? In which case I have no idea because I have an E36 which has a different setup.

Yeah, an 01 is an E46. The turn signal is part of the headlight also. So I have to take the whole headlight off?

Actually, I take that back. I think it's separate from the headlight. It should be able to pop out separately.

Well, if it's anything like an E36, you look straight down between the headlight and the corner light and you see a horizontal plastic lever. You press against it with a screwdriver while coaxing the corner light forward with your other hand and it comes right out, and from there how to change the bulb is obvious.
