I think it's time I added a pic in my signature, but I can't seem to do it.:(
Could someone give me some understandable, non-technical, simple information on how it is done? (can you tell I'm not computer friendly) And while we're at it, let's do an avatar also!
Mahalo very much &
Thank you nui loa!
The Beastmaster 10-01-2003, 02:11 AM First thing to do is to shrink it down to size. Then you have to upload it to a site to host your pics. I think.... ah heck, just ask JP!
IslandS62 10-01-2003, 04:17 AM It's one of those things where its easy but much too difficult to type out. Do you have a photo you like? I you do, send it to me and I can resize it. Next you will need to host it somewhere. Do you have webspace from road runner somewhere? Otherwise, sign up for a roadfly account or something.
thrlls 10-01-2003, 11:55 AM Ooookay!
I follow you up to sending you a pic, but start to get fuzzy at the "host", "webspace", "roadyfly account" area???
IslandS62 10-01-2003, 03:29 PM BFC can't find a picture that is on your hard drive and use it as a signature here. You need to save the picture somewhere on the internet and give it an "address". Often RoadRunner or whomever you buy internet service from, will provide you with someplace to store photos.
If you do not have this space, you can get it free from some sites. One of them is Roadfly.org when you sign up for email, which is free.
These spaces will allow you to upload pics to the internet and keep them there, sort of like a bank. Once your photo is saved online and you have its address, you can come to BFC and click on "profile" in the upper left corner, and then "edit profile". There you will see a little place to enter the web "address" of your photo.
Once you do that...voila'...cool signature of car/girl/pets/extraneous info about your toys. :D
If you can't figure it out, grab one of those teenagers you have running around your house, I am sure they know how to do it :)
Now I want to start seeing some cool sigs from the Hawaii people here!!

 Spoken like a true President!
I tried the teenage thing, but they are too bored with car stuff and only want to AIM their friends.....they are too busy.
Caveat: Only have kids if you can return them!
Okay I kind of think I understand what you are saying, so I shall try it and see what happens.
I shall not post again until I get it, Sir President JP.
I don't want to disappoint you!
So if you don't see a post from me, that means I don't have YET!
Thank you for your expert advice, you da man....I mean President.
The Beastmaster 10-01-2003, 09:41 PM In the signature section, don't forget to put [i m g]webaddress[/i m g] without the spaces to complete the sig.

The Beastmaster 10-02-2003, 02:35 AM That's strange. I paid for your renewal last month! Just in case you forgot to.
thrlls 10-11-2003, 01:13 PM I'mmmmm baaaack!
Not the best pic for a sig, but it's a start!
The Beastmaster 10-11-2003, 01:39 PM Off road exursion? Aloha 500?
thrlls 10-11-2003, 01:44 PM Let's just say, the Auto crossed the road at the Auto cross.:D
ZZZING 10-13-2003, 04:35 AM I like the way you put that.... LOL:laugh
ZZZING 10-13-2003, 04:46 AM Now I have to get a sig/pic, here is the first attempt, hope it works
The Beastmaster 10-13-2003, 05:10 AM Looks good, Andy. The only thing is it's a little fuzzy! What about one of the pics from the Aloha 500?
EDIT: Oops, my bad. You were instructing!
IslandS62 10-13-2003, 05:01 PM Looking good Andy! That's some serious body roll you got there...next time I want to see you on TWO wheels!
The Beastmaster 10-13-2003, 05:39 PM You can even see his Butt Strut and his luggage rack.
ZZZING 10-13-2003, 11:46 PM Yeah one of these days I gotta work on that body roll, but hey, why mess with success? LOL
thrlls 10-14-2003, 03:09 AM Oh yeah, you are so right, success is what you got!
I'm beginning to think that a little body roll is a good thing on autox. My susp was too stiff and caused a lot of sliding. The energy has to go somewhere? Notice how his wheels stay on the ground and not slide. If it were stiffer, he'd probably would be on two wheels, or across the road like some people. I hope now with the softer rear stock sways, and the stiffer RD front sways, I will get better times. But there is still one problem area that needs a little more fine tuning, the driver. :bluecry1:
ZZZING 10-14-2003, 11:51 PM Yeah, I'm ready to get out there again, 2 more weeks. I hope the adjustments you made work out well. I have to kick some S2000 butt....
Gene V 10-15-2003, 02:19 AM ZZZING, get some sway bars...I ran Eibachs for the first time last autox and they really made the car feel hooked up...I went full soft front and rear to keep the car neutral, may go medium in the rear in the future if I feel it needs to rotate more...well worth the $$$...
