This is always around 2.8k-3.3k RPMs. The car feels like it bogs a bit at partial (20-40%) throttle right when I step on it. It feels like it slows down before it speeds up. I notice because my head tips forward (ever so slightly) when it should have been pushed into the headrest. This is only slightly annoying, but I'm guessing it is one of the quirks I have to relearn in the car. No partial throttling around that RPM range. Is this bog or something else? Also the cars feels faster as time progresses, am I crazy or what?

no.

it's hard to track down till you get it on a dyno w/ a/f probe

YES, I had this on the highway at crusing speeds between 2500 and 3500, the car would kina serge and then loose power over and over. It was rather upsetting, however on the latest software update from AA this problem is gone, which tells me your car is running lean at part throtal like mine was. However my car is an obd2 so I got a cel for it, yours not being obd2 I am not sure if you will get a light or not. AA enriched the part load map for me to solve this problem..

GQ, I have a similar problem... well, actually, the identical problem, but it's ONLY before the car is warmed up... for the first 2-3 minutes or so it'll do that. I usually warm up the car though.

Once the car is warm I don't get anything... I wonder if this has anything to do with the coolent temp or anything... do you have an OBD-II scanner? Maybe the program gets stuck in some weird mode/map?

Sorry I can't help much more... but it's weird you get that on a warm engine...

Standard AA supplied Bosch 30# red tops. I'm thinking this is a tuning issue.

I have OBD-1, so no scanner. I'll scan it for stored engine codes later tonight. Dude, am I running lean or what?? Gotta get my A/F meter in this weekend, same for my boost gauge.

Where did you tap in for your switched power supply for the gauges??

Ignition harness... for power....

Your AFR meter will probably not tell you much... if anything if you're running lean or not...

Ed - how do you like it so far? What were your first reactions?? Even though I was running extremely lean, I was very very very pleased with the gains.

Please share!!!
