hey guys, the wheels that i am about to get have a 40mm offset, and i believe that the e36 is 38mm, correct?
anyways, i was wondering if this is that big of a deal. can the wheels just go on, or do i need to cover that 2mm?
i was thinking that it isn't really a problem, and they will go on pretty easily, but i am not positive.
please help...thanks.:95:

I think I have 17x8, 40mm offset TSW Revos and they fit great. No rubbing or anything.

Good Luck!

all depends on the wheel width pal.. offset is relative.

but assuming it's an 8" rim, or 8.5".. YES, on an e36.

we put 40mm offset 17x8 SSR Competitions on an E36 M3 a week or so ago, fit fine.
