...and why?

I have to say mine is Riverside Dr. for right now. On my way home from my girlfriend's at 2-3am no one is ever on it and I am able to enjoy my BMW's handling through the twisties.

My fav road used to be 400 SB, but now too many cops :(

Buford Dam Road (in north Gwinnett County) is a nice ride with good scenery, few stop lights, and some fun curves.

Roads in Atlanta suck... I hit this pothole the other day that swore felt like it was going to break my axle...

So, I guess my vote would be none...

Barrett Pkwy ha ha...

We have some nice 2-lane twisties out here on the west side, but none you've ever heard of.

Dorsett Shoals Rd. in Douglas Co. is a couple miles of decent twists with minimal traffic controls.

S Fulton Pkwy is good for serious high-speed runs - I can't remember ever seeing any cops out there.

Mt. Calvary Rd in Marietta going from 120 to Burnt Hickory is short but sweet, along with Old Mtn Rd near the Pigeon Hill trailhead.

That's all for now, off the top of my head. Later.

Didn't mean to piss you off...

I remember driving it BEFORE the traffic improvements - it would take a half-hour to get from 41 to the mall.

My parents live up there but I avoid it at all costs.

There used to be some good roads in W Cobb, but they're all overrun with subdivisions nowadays (wow, I'm becoming redneck).

I had a good drive in Carroll Co. going to pick up a bike frame - nice 40 mile jaunt into the sticks, I think I saw 5 other cars out there.

See y'all Sunday

My most favoritest road is whatever that nice Cobb Police officer drove on the way to jail. Oh the fun!

If Defoors Ave was paved worth a shit it would be a pretty fun road to drive. Not that I slow down that much on it. :evil2

Seriously though, the roads here REALLY suck until you get out in the 'burbs where there are enough old bastards who pay alot of taxes so that the local municipality listens to them and doesn't let 8ft wide potholes go unattended for hours on end.

Oh yea, there is this one road going off Collier Rd, right before Howell Mill Rd that is like a mini T12 at Road Atlanta. I get flashbacks and can't help but keeping it floored through there. Then there's a big ass pothole you have to avoid at the bottom. :az:

I like the combination of

Spalding Drive west out of Dunwoody turning into Dalrymple as it heads into Sandy Springs and then turning into Riverside Drive when it crosses Roswell Rd. right at The Bimmmer Store. Take that all the way to Johnson Ferry Rd. Take a short ride north on JF and then turn left and go Paper Mill west bound all the way to Terrell Mill.

Another good one is Old Alabama heading south from Holcomb Bridge Rd. Turn left on to Riverside Rd. That turns into Asalea Dr. when it crosses over Roswell Rd. Turn left onto Willeo Rd. Then turn left on to Lower Roswell. This will take you all the way over to I-75 but I suggest turning around when you reach Johnson Ferry rd.
