We have made some improvements to the car since my last thread. It is still sporting the TCD prototype non intercooled turbo kit but now with a slightly larger turbo, 3" downpipe and 3.25 diff instead of 2.93.

We just finished last night and I was out "testing" this morning. The car was running perfectly. Proper fuel pressure and 15lbs of boost. It was only 60 degrees out as well.

Just I was about to turn around and go home a new M3 pulls in front of me and heads towards the hwy. I follow him closely and he takes notice.

We travel down the cloverleaf on ramp briskly and near the bottom of the ramp he punches it. I am in 2nd gear going 50mph and nail it. I quickly real him in and pass him at about 70mph and then we run into traffic.

We then run again from 70mph. This time I pull at least 5 car lengths on him from 70-120mph.

He pulls up next to me with a big smile on his face and yells to me "Big Turbo?" I didn't have the heart to tell him that this was the stage 1 kit so I just said yes. He waved again and took off.

It's cool to run into another nice. BMW owner.

nice kill man... but @ 15psi you should run an intercooler, just to be safe.

Great run. How much hp/tq do you have?

Just got it back together yesterday. Last dyno run was 402rwhp/431rwtq with the old turbo, crappy downpipe and slipping clutch. Car was intercooled then though.

We are going to Lebanon Valley on Friday and then back to the dyno shortly thereafter.

Where in CT are you? I am in Suffield.
