Night started off pretty dull. Me and a buddy went up to the northside to check out a club meet. Turns out it was nothing but some jocks and there stangs and comaros. So we head back home when I see the blue LED washer lights on the hood coming up fast. Next to me pulls up an orange eclipse (older model), I had heard of this car from some friends. It is supposed to be real fast being that its all wheel drive and turbo (GSX). So we finally get through traffic and he gets out first. I get my momentum goin and match his speed then start to pull. We come up on some traffic and he says "I want to get you from a dead stop" Thinking he can launch the all wheel on me. As his luck would have it the next light turns red, but there is a car in my lane so I move in behind him. It goes green I hear him spool up then launch. I dont even launch but ease out on the clutch. By second im on his ass. I grab third as I move to the right and coast by him like its nothing. He was cool about it, He motioned me over and we talked. He was impressed with the M and said he just wanted to see if they were what they were hyped up to be. Not a substancial kill for an M but still a fun kill.

nice kill. off the line he would have gotten a jump on you. the gsx, like all 4wd cars, launches really good.

All i have is exhaust, he had about everything but a turbo upgrade (inlet pipe, downpipe, catback, ported intake and exhaust mainifolds) a nice car for a jap

thanks for the info, i always wanted to race an eclipse but i never in 4 years being into the race scene had a chance, i've raced probably every car out there but the damn GSX, good job man...

They did race off the line. The M3 even started behind and caught him by 2nd gear.

the gsx obviously had his stock turbo or else it would have been good night for you. even with the boost turned all the way up thatturbojust isnt proficient for that motor if its a second gen. i could walkmy friends when he was running 18lbs but when he upgraded (to a 50 series garret somewhere in there not real sure of actual size) he would put instantlinkks onme from a roll. nice kill but there are alot of gsx and gst that will stomp you

Thanks guys, nice to see some GSX/Talon guys reply. There are some out there that could smoke me without trying hard. I have much respect for these cars.
