Hey guys,
What do you think of the HM3's I was looking at them yesterday. I kinda like them but they only come in 17's. I kinda want 18's but if I get 17's I can keep my tires and not have to drop my car just yet. I was at first thinking HM2 but the lip is so small I didn't know that only 19's had deep dish Chicago Style. haha. Do you think appearance wise 18 and 17 are a bigger difference. Only 1 inch and lots more green. Tellme what you guys think.

I'm pretty sure they come bigger than 17's

yeah, 17" only for the HM3.. but i don't really care for them.. FAKE BOLTS! i'm not a fan of "faux multi-piece" rims..

i dont care for fake 2 piece rims, even if they do come from Hamann, just get some PG2's, or HM2's. 17 is good for the track, 18 is a little more for looks, 19 is all out looks.

I really want rims but don't know if the extra cash w/ it for extra inch. Do you guys think that 17 and 18 noticeably different. If you guys don't like the HM3's what about 17 in MVR Magnum. They only come in 17 and 19. I'm trying to avoid changing too much stuff.

Yah willy my stock is 17's what size are you HM2's

those fake bolts will make cleaning harder too...
i like the hm2s- nice wheels. the step up to 18s will set you back more, but if you are going to do a mod, DO A MOD. you know what i mean?
going to 18s will allow you to run bigger brakes in the future too.
nice little quake we had a little while ago...

Wow you felt that quake too. I think it was a 4.2. My first earthquake. Kinda weird. My roomy was all freaked out. I was like what the hell was that. I had a strange weekend. I think my apartment was the center of the earthquake. Guess what the S.W.A.T team was at my complex last nite too. LA is freakin crazy.

I agree too. IMO, If you're going to drop money on new rims, either get 17s that are going to be lighter than stock (better performance) or move up to an 18. Especially since the hm3s are probably going to be heavier than your stock rims.

Hmm.. can I ask ya to do a favor please?
I love your M3, but that picture of those locus all smashed up on your car is so freaking disgusting.. it kinda bothers me cuz there are must so many of them with juices all over the place. Can you replace that sig image with your original right rear corner shot on the freeway? Plzzzzz?
