I am looking for any info on the '95 M3 I bought damaged recently. It is Cosmos black, black leather, looks to be all stock. It was hit low in the left rear 1/4 pnl, pushing the panel up slightly. It had minor damage on the rt. front fender, just around the marker light area. It was missing its front and rear bumpers, maybe removed during insurance inspection and never replaced? RF headlamp housing was cracked, lense was ok. Car had 199k miles on it, a slightly silverish window tint, and had 3 round emblems (greek? Fraternity? shriners?) stuck to the driver side of the rear window, together. Car seems very well kept, is very tight and appears to have been maintained well by an enthusiast. Paint looks original, and car had newish Michelin Pilot Sport tires on front (directional) and older style Michelins on rear, fairly worn.

I am very curious about this car's history. It appears to possibly be a 1 owner car, either Georgia or Alabama, and I bought it from an insurance sale up 316 near Athens, though it could have come from somewhere else.

Anyone know this car?

No, I'm not parting it, it really wasn't damaged very badly, just a slight tweak of the 1/4. I have fixed it and am driving and autocrossing it now, it's actually a pretty damn nice car for cheap! I am just curious if anyone knows the car or owner, I want to know some maintanence stuff on it and stuff like that. I figured someone in the Ga or AL area has seen it.

hmm i know someone that had a m3 just like what u r saying..but i cant remember about the 3 symbols. Did the interior lights ever go out that u know of? b/c his did...and i also dont remember the high milage...but u never know...

Thanks anyway man. This sucker was bone ass stock, 'till I got it at least, and at least 1 of the emblems stuck to the back glass was a Mason's Lodge insignia, I am told, so maybe an old guy?:dunno

Title just is in the name of the insurance company, and CarFax gives no names, so guess I am SOL unless someone recognizes it. I just wanna know if the motor is original, if water pump is original plastic or updated, if oil pump nut has ever been looked after, if the top end has been updated, that kinda stuff. It runs strong as shit, so I figure it musta had some upkeep somewhere along the way.

If anyone recognizes the description, give me a shout!
