Ok, I admit it. I'm one of those people that will go out of their way to find the "ding free" parking space. Give me any lot and I will methodically drive around to find an end spot, as far away from another vehicle as possible.

I do this, to avoid interactions with stupid moron b*tches like I came across tonight.

I come out of a fabulous meal I have enjoyed with my wife at Mirage on Roswell Road. We met right after work so we arrived in separate cars. As usual I found a great parking spot, on the end of a row that had a painted no parking section off the drivers side. Since that afforded me the ability to park further away from the car on the passenger side, I did, putting my driver's side tires just slightly over the lines.

Walking over to my car, I noticed an Oldsmobile Bravada SUV parked very close to my car on the driver's side, windows down and hazards on. O crap-insert sinking feeling...

I walk over to my car. Although a bit close, the SUV was thankfully not right next to me and my door looked unblemished. Whew, or so I thought...

As I am getting in, I hear the stupid b*tch owner of the SUV, walking out of the store yelling at me saying, "Ooooh there's mista I-take-up-six-spaces..."

I say, "excuse me? you're not even supposed to park here. This area is not even a parking spot"

To this she says "I don't gotta listen to your sh*t (insert asian racial slur here)"
Opens the her door (bang) right into my car.

Thankfully, M Coupes are short and her door lined up with the plastic, rear bumper portion of my car. DUMB LUCK. I jumped back out and checked my car out. No damage. Couldn't believe it.

I look at her and she says "I ain't done nothing. I ain't hurt yo car"

My blood was boiling. I just looked at her and said "You really are the stupidest, F*cking B*itch I have even seen" and I just drove away.

I can't believe there are people like this in the world.

Ya, my dad parks at the end of all parking lots because he spent $2500 + his insurances $2000 after they keyed it.

We went to Best Buy and he parked in back near this secluded corner of the lot. Some prick scratched the molding on the passenger side.

I was actually pretty upset because i felt like it was just sheer jealousy and disrespect.

Some people are looking for a fight, walking around their entire lives looking for people and situations to get pissed off at. She sounds like one of them. It's sad, but it's easier to deal with for me when I remember that she's just a really depressed, unhappy individual. She, and a good number of people in this world, take out their shit on others.

When I can remember that I'm happy and in a position to be the better person and not let it bother me -- and instead apologize even if the other person is in the wrong -- the situation usually disolves without a problem.

I totally agree. I work at one of the finest hotels in the WORLD and I park a friggin quarter mile from the door as to protect "my baby" and someone keyed my M3 4 days after I bought it. Probably one of those jealous types that drive the '78 Lincolns and work in housekeeping or laundry. A**holes! Just because you don't respect your car, don't disrespect mine!:mad:

Several years ago, I drove a relative's car to a dealership to get a bottle of touch-up paint for it. While I watched from the parts desk, some old guy in a beater backed diagonally into the parking space next to my relative's car and put a ding in the passenger side door when he got out. :complain

We live in an age where respect for other people's property is nonexistent. Worse yet, in Georgia, it seems you only need to have a pulse to get a driver's license.

for me it's the principle of the matter. if someone has no respect whatsoever for my things that I worked hard for, then the results are predictable,i.e. their shit is fair game.

I try very hard to keep my temper under control.

During my teenage years, I had a very short fuse and got into lots of fights with people.

As I grew older, I realized that there are a lot of people with much less to lose than me. And even though it would feel great unleashing my deserved wrath on them, what could happen after, keeps me from doing it.
