it depends what type of car. what your parents driving records are like (assuming you are going to be going on their insurance)


you can go to sites like allstate, etc and they will give you a free online quote. of course i've found that all those numbers are like 500 bucks more than what they would actually charge you but at least you can see that its going to be a lot.
