Ok.. I want to paint my sideskirts and front and rear bumpers to match the rest of the car. But I really do not want to spend a lot of money.. I will be getting a body kit of some soft eventually.
So here is my question. Does anyone have equipment to paint these parts. I am not looking for professional results. But think that it would definetly look better.
Any thoughts??

I guess you could but some aerosol cans of the factory color and spray them yourself. Just make sure its prepped properly.
Buttuh asked about factory color aerosol paints in the general forums and there were a couple companies that did them.

This is what I have concluded.... It is all what you want it to look like in the end..
Best result: Take it to a shop, let the professionals do it
Good result: Buy the equipment and good paint.. Air compressor, spray gun, etc...
Meh result: Matched paint in an aeresol can..
I am going to go with the good result. It will probably cost me around $100.. not sure yet.

Air compressor $300 Has to be large enough so that it doesn't cycle on/off constantly. Maintaining pressure is essential.
Spray gun $150 - decent spray gun
Paint/Materials $150 apx.
Unless you already have the compressor/gun its gonna be WAY more than $100. Also, mixing/thinning the paint can be a bit tricky. Though you can probably buy a book that explains it.
I think you could get pretty good results for a lot less with aerosol. But thats JMO. Good luck.

Already have compressor, gun, tape, etc.. All I need is paint... And that is what I was not sure of..
Basically the guy at Autocolor said that the aerosol would look like crap...

Oh, you'd only need a pint of base and maybe a quart of clear at the most. White is easy, I'm sure it'll look fine when your done.
