Aye Just wondering did BMW ever make a 4 door BMW?? I seem to see 83490543 M3's a day. Now I highly doubt even 80% of these are real (just sticker rip offs). Yet its sad when a dam RSX S goes and beats one. Later in the Honduh forums. Goes "DUDE I OWNED AN M3!!!!". Just annoying thats all and wondering.

there was a 4-door E36 M3. don't think there was a 4-door E30 M3.

the easiest tip offs are the boat fenders and the crazy lego trunklid.

The only factory 4 door M3 is an E36. The E36 was made from 1992-1998, convertables made it into 1999 as well.

E30 M3 came in 2 door only, coupe or the hard to find euro convertables.

The 4-door e36 M3 was only built in 97 and 98

E36 M3 were from 95-99

E30 M3 never came in a 4 door, only 2 door and rare convertibles (never imported but you'll find some grey market ones here)

the boat fenders and screwy looking trunlid mean a REAL E30 M3.

Am I right guys?

I bet thats what I am seeing are a bunch of 3 series but they remove all the 3 series stuff and add M everywhere. Not to mention their getting beaten by HONDUHS!! Thats giving a bad name to BMW :(.

How? On the street? Who cares about that. Those rockets can zoom around as much as they want on their slammed suspensions.

BTW, Zenon, that is a beautiful car! Do you have any idea whos that is?! :D

no idea, apparently the owner recently repainted it with a roller and house paint so it doesn't look like that anymore.... :(

Real M3s look like the red one posted above. There were no 4 door models, BMW decided to tap into the wannabe market with the E36 M3 model (I mean the 4 door automatic, but go ahead and flame me if you must).

In Italy there was a 320is which was an E30 model with a sleeved S14 which brought the displacement from 2.3 liter to 2.0 liters. This was to take advantage of the tax break given to cars which had engines displacing 2 liters and less. I believe it was available as a 2 or 4 door but looks the same as any MTech fitted E30.

Also, there was a 325i Sport which had an M Tech suspension and aero kit. It has the M20B25 motor which can be found in the E30 325i/is. Neither of these cars were imported.

Repainted with a roller and spray paint, isn't that how it's done? :95 I would spray 1/2 can into a pail, then roll, then the other 1/2 for myself :D

yeah its not as easy to fake a e30 into an e30 m3 as it is for an e36 into an e36 m3.
