AaAAAaaAAAAA!!! This looks like the tire I've been waiting for! A snow capable tire available in 225/45 17 that's not the P7000 supersport! Only Y rated, but I think that will do... Only problem is that they're $212 apiece. Now I know what to give myself for Christmas..

The description is impressive. I couldn't get to a customer rating or test results from the link. Is the tire too new to have that kind of feedback?

I still like the Yokohoma AVS dB. What is the snow rating for the Pilot Sport A/S. The tread looks agressive enough to be great on snow.

Yep. I run a search for UHPAS 225/45/17 about once a month, and this one just popped up for the first time. It has probably just been introduced.

Snow tires are for wusses!

Hey, that's the best part -- they're not snow tires, just m+s capable ones. We'll see... I really don't want to spend that much on tires, though...
