I've been told that a bucket similar to the Griots model, the one with the screen in the bottom seen here:

...can be had for less money, like at a WalMart, Home Deport, or Lowes.

Well folks, I visited each one of those this past weekend, done about an hour's worth of Google searches, and have now just completed searching Autopia forums, and still have nothing to show for it.

Does any body know where I can find such a bucket? I'm almost to the point where I say "screw it, just get the Griots".

TIA

I have the Griots. Why try to save $1. You have spent more than what you will save in gas going to all of those places.

Absolutely, you're right. I order almost everything online these days instead of wasting my weekends hunting to save $5. That's why I am at this point. I just figured I'd ask in case I was missing something obvious.

Maguires has a bucket with a screen. Not sure of the price but I would bet its less than Griot's.

You can buy it on thier site.

It's not worth it to me at this point to order this insert, wait for it to arrive, then go hunt for a bucket that will accomodate it.

Oh well, Griots will get my $ I guess. Thanks guys

That screen fits any 5 gal bucket that you could easily get at Home Depot or the Bakery of your local grocery store chain.

I am too frugal to shop at Griots for the most part.

I saw several at Home Depot this weekend but there was no price on it. I already own the over priced Griots version and was curious how much it was at HD. Guess we'll never know.
