SUMBIT to fightercars@gmail.com
We are looking for a couple of nicer cars (re: Mercedes, BMW, Lexus, etc.) from before 1993 for a shoot tonight for The Fighter.
We want people to work as extras with their cars. You may be asked to drive the car in a shot, or they may park your car and use you as an extra walking in the scene.
The call time will be approximately 6:30pm and you would need to be able to stay until they finish shooting. Our best estimate is that the shoot will last 8-10 hours, so you would have to be prepared to work very late.
If you would like to be considered and are available, please send us an email at fightercars@gmail.com. If you are selected we will be in touch promptly. Please include a photo of the car if possible.
Please include your name and the best number to call.
Also, I need a handful more cars for tomorrow night as well, shooting late in Lowell. If you are interested and available in this please let me know.
If you have previously submitted please submit again. We are under seige and have to find people through email today.
Lastly, we are also looking for one or two older people to work as extras without cars (45-65). Feel free to let me know if you are interested.

Does this have anything to do with the ridiculous amount of film trucks currently parked on St. Botolph & Huntington Ave near Matthews Arena/Jordan Hall?

Maybe I should head over there in a bit... (since I work at NEU).

Take a stroll on by it's worth it just to people watch. I dropped off my girlfriend at her apartment on the other side of St. Botolph a few hours ago and then drove past Matthews on my way to the hospital...it's a circus over there.

tax credits, MA passed legislation that makes it a very attractive state for film production.

Lol my co-workers brother works there. He was telling us that Chris Rock and someone else and Adam Sandler were there. And chris rock is a dick haha but Sandler is a cool guy.

You can't be serious. No word of this w/i the e24 community, and I am amongst the closest original M6 owners in the area. Doubt there are more than 10 in New England.

I didn't get my cars in the movie... I did get to meet and talk to the producer who showed me they went with a much more ghetto feel for the car scene. I saw Christian Bale and Salma Hayek filming the scene where Dickie gets busted by the cops... Salma is amazingly beautiful... She has legs for weeks...

I acutally found out that there was an asian car show festival type thing... The BMW's were from their car show I guess... And I only counted 12...15 was an exaggeration. There are a surprising amount of Sharks and m6's in my area... I know of maybe 6 or 7 and the owners never go near a forum...

Even outside of the forums, I see very few M6's, ranging from Bav Auto Show, to German Car Day at Lars and Scott and I are the only New England guys with sixers Sharkfest. But, glad to some other are around. Heck, I saw a gorgeous M5 E28 fly by me in my town going the other way (and I was in my Infiniti) a few weeks ago. I do know of the car and driver, was nice to see my shark's sibling.
