I need some rubbing compound to take out a bunch of surface blemishes in my paint (mostly scratches and swirls that you can't feel with your fingernail). What's the best rubbing compound? I really trust 3m and was hoping to buy some of their rubbing compound, but I can't find it at pep boys, autozone, or advance auto parts. Any idea where I can find it? What rubbing compounds have you used and liked/disliked?

Thanks for the opinions!

I know this sounds cheap but I use turtle wax rubbing compound and then I follow it with turtle wax's polishing compound. But those two are the only turtle wax products that I use. If you really want to get all that crap out use any clay bar system. I would recomend mothers clay bar. But if you go this route make sure you spend time on rewaxing the area you clay bared. Because what the clay does is take off all of the old protection that you have put on. But the clay bar is worth the time and money and you will be very happy with the finished product.:D
