Anyone know how to disable the Airbag warning light, or have a reset tool? I really want to avoid the dealer on this one.

You did put the butt strut under the car right?.....lol

Didn't you get an extended warranty? Or is your warranty for the drive train only?
Wouldn't this light be covered as a malfuncting unit?

Actually I have been having problems with the warranty company and I am seeking a refund via my credit card company. The warranty, while it was a good deal, is not currently in force and the warranty company is not paying claims. (their insurer is Chap.11) I decided to pull the plug on the warranty and try to get the $$$ back rather than taking a chance with the warranty company. :( Long story short, no warranty.

So anyone with a Peake Reasearch tool, or will I be buying one this afternoon?

I have your butt-strut out of the car Thrills. Do you want me to run it by your workplace tommorrow? Thanks fort he "loan"

Yeah, bring the b/s to work that will be fine. Call me at work, and I can come over to pick it up. E-mail me if you need my work ph#. I have a visitor from the mainland that I may need to be meeting with through out the day, so if you have a time that would be great. I get to work at 7:00 if you are at work at that time, I can swing by and pick it up. Let me know.
I hope you get you light issue solved..bummer about your warranty. So tell me, is your b/s aluminum?

That would be great DB!!! At the least it will save me from BMW Honolulu from having to diagnose the code, best case is that it will reset and not return.

Are you on the Leeward side? For some reason I recall you living near Aiea like myself. Let me know what is most convenient for you if the offer is still open. ;)

most appreciated!
