Installation instruction:-

MANUAL PEDALS:-

Tools required:-

1. 6-pack of beer(believe me u’d need it)
2. socket wrench or just a socket would do
3. allen key
4. some kinda glue or grease to hold the nut
5. drill
6. 1/8 drill bi
7. Small needle pliers(if u don’t have this – u r in deep shit)

Gas Pedal:-
The ACS Gas pedal goes over the OEM pedal

1) Align the ACS on the OEM pedal and mark it, make sure that the holes on the top are equidistant from the edge of the OEM pedals(this is important or u may not be able to stick that nut behind the pedals.
2) Drill one hole and insert a bolt to keep it in place and then drill the other hole in the top(make sure the bottom is aligned)
3) Use u r needle plier to hold the nut and screw it in (need lot of patience here – don’t worry if it takes for ever to get this part done – it took me 15 minutes and a couple of beers and some cussing to get this done)
4) drill the bottom two hole thru the ACS pedal and insert the bolt and tighten it(use socket, or glue or needle plier what ever suits u best)

ho, btw, u must be wondering about the washer, I just threw mine away, I had a hard time to get the nut back there, I said hell with the washer :)

U R Done with the toughtest job – get a beer

Brake pedal:-

1) remove the rubber pad from the oem pedals and shit the brake pedals r steel,
2) get u r 1/8 drill and match mark u r holes, and drill one hole(it might take up to 5 minutes)
3) fit u r ACS pedals and tighten that one hole with nut and bolt, u can use the glue or grease to hold on to the nut.
4) Now with the ACS on the pedal held by one nut, mark the other three holes using u r drill
5) now uninstall the acs brake pedal and drill the other 3 holes
6) install all the nut bolts and washers.

Make sure u don’t mess up u r drilling :)
Clutch pedal:-
Same as Brake except after installing one bolt don’t remove the acs as u can drill thru the acs pedal as the clutch pedal is plastic, so u should be alright. BTW, make sure u don’t drill towards the edges, just be careful

I did install washer on the brake and clutuch pedals

Dead pedal:-

1) get four - ½ inch Phillips screw.
2) match mark the top two hole.
3) drill the top two hole using 1/8 drill bit
4) without the ACS on there, screw the Phillips screw half way thru the oem dead pedal and then unscrew it.
5) put the acs dead pedal on and screw it in.
6) screw the ½ screws on the bottom towards the floor

and u r all set.

It took me 1 ½ hour to do this and I was also drunk by then J

Good luck and If u need some help let me know.

Installing ACS e-brake:-

1. pull the leather boot that's on the hand brake, it has two tabs one towards the front and one in the back, it should be easy
2. pull the boot over the hand brake and u'll see a ty-wrap
3. slide the ty-wrap down, it should come off easily
4. pull the existing ebrake out, it should come out easily
5. insert the ACS e-brake, align it, (when u do so the ACS logo should be under where u cant see it -just kiddin)
6. ok one allen screw would point under the e-brake and two would point side ways.
7. make sure the bottom one is loose and then tighten the top two. so its flush with the e-brake, now tighten the bottom screw
8. Now this is optional - pull the boot over the e-brake and usea ty-wrap to secure the boot on the e-brake handle - u dont need to do it, idid it cos i had a ty-wrap handy

there u go this should be an easy job
let me know if u have trouble and please dont go to u r mechanic to install the e-brake

Installation instruction on shift knob:-

1. put the shifter to second gear
2. use a lil knife and pry out the M or /// insert - the black insert on top of u r current shift knob, i.e if its BMW shift knob
3. use phillips screw driver and remove the screw(i hope u figured out to screw or get screwed so unscrewing shouldn't be a problem
4. now tug the shift knob towards u, sitting in the drivers seat
(dont worry u wont hurt it, but if the transmission comes thru the floor board u just pulled too hard )
5. insert the ACS shift knob, u have 3 allen screws and u also get and allen wrench(guys who ordered e-braake dont get this - i dont know why ?)
6. position the shift knob iin the groove on the shifter. and tighten the nut(make sure u go in circles tightening a lil at a time, so u wont go through on one side)
7. and wallah the shift knob is secured

Thanks again for the E-brake!!

Are the pedals the same color as the E-brake? I think it really looks good with the light interior!! I wonder if the ACS brushed gauges are the same shade of color!?!?

I am not quite sure about the brushed gauges, but i think they r a lil silverish, the pedals, knob and ebrake are all Machined brush crome and they look a lot better than the pics. get a hold of those autos and dead pedal when u get a chance :)

Now I'm waiting on the UUC SS GP and the eibach GP to materialize so i could get those, i'm getting close to getting my car all ready for driving school :) and autoX

First of all BIG THANKS to injun///M3 for doing an awsome job on the GP ...

When I was intalling my e-brake, I had some trouble with my leather ebrake handle as well. You have jurk it left and right and pull the leather ebrake towards the dashboard.... It's kind of hard if the ebrake has a tight fit on the e-brake handle but you just tug left and right untill you feel it starting to loosen up... there is no screws or anything to worry about....

Let me know if that helps

did u cut the ty-wrap off, u need to
there's a lil notch where the boot goes over the leather oem e-brake and if i recall right the oem e-brake was glued on, but once u get the ty-wrap off and wiggle it a couple of times it should come off easily. maybe its not that easy afterall, :) :)

I swear I must be retarded or something. I can't get this freakin e-brake handle off. I tried pulling until my hands were red. I got the ty off and took off the leather boot. I think it is like superglued in or something. Ahhhhhhhhh. let me know what I can try.

Mine was hard too. All I did was twist and turn the little fucker untill it broke loose. You could probably throw a pair of channel locks on it if you don't mind ruining it. Or cut the bitch off with a Dremel!! :chainsaw:

Okay. I finally got the freakin thing off. Only problem now is I don't have an allan wrench small enough. I swear I'm cursed never to get this thing on. I think I'll have to make a run to hardware store. thanks for everyone's help. I might have to take a pic when I finally get it right.

i dont know why they did not provide the allen wrench for the e-brake, they did for the shift knob, post a pic.

BTW, those of u who followed deez's instruction and tore up the OEM e-brake, i happen to have one for sale. $ 2 +10 s&h :):D :128:

Just installed my pedals (almost). I'm going to buy a set of angled needlenose pliers tomorrow, since my straight ones aren't short enough to fit behind the accelerator pedal. Also, the bolts aren't long enough to fit in the lower right part of the accelerator pedal. It just barely sticks out the back (not enough to catch the nut, I think), so I'm going to have to find a longer one somewhere or maybe grind away some of the plastic on the back of the stock pedal with a Dremel.

Definitely need some angled needlenose pliers, though.

Thanks, Injun///M3, for the group purchase!

This is a VERY OLD thread but i just bought the AA E-Brake handle and i am having a seriously difficult time with it...
Any help would be appreciated...

I was able to completely remove the oem e-brake and install the AA one. However, i cant seem to place the boot in the right position. I do not know how to ty-wrap it..
As of now, i simply folded the boot so that it is at the end of the handle. I really dont like how it looks and the fact that it is loose..
i really need some info about ty-wraping it...
Everything is done except the final "boot part"...

Thanks!!!

For folks who are doing the installs.

Easy for e-brake. Took me 10 minutes including time to find new zip tie in the house.

not to bring this thread up from the grave but im about to install some replica acs pedals... i got them from the same seller on ebay as everyone in the gb did..... the instructions make sense except for when you install the gas pedal... i dont understand when he says use a socket wrench do screw in the bolts.... how can you even use a socket wrench and why wouldnt you just use the needle nose pliers to hold the nut and screw in the allan head?
