Does anyone out there have the original instructions for mounting the QM325.21 door speakers? Any help would be appreciated.

what kinda help do you need? they just replace the mid. the stock tweeter stays.

Need help with how the 4's mount on to the rings and then how the rings mount on to the doors. I'm guessing the speakers screw on to the adapter ring. After that, does the adapter ring simply pressure fit into the door panel? And do I need to use the MBQ grill in conjunction or can I keep the stock grill in place.

As far as I know you just mount the adapter and grill togther with 4 screws. Then mount the speaker to the adapter. MBQ mid's usally have a tabbed ring that locks onto the speaker. The 4 tabs are to mount the speaker to the adapter ring. If there is something I'm missing just call the MBQ tech line, one of those guys will walk you through it or supply you withe the orig. instructions.

Called MB Quart and they didn't have the original instructions...bummer. I assume that figure 1 is the grille side and figure 2 is the speaker side. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Also what is the function of the tab that is uneven (arrow in fig. 1) from the other 3? It seems I either got the wrong grill (fig. 3) or I'm missing the ring around the grille itself...any idea? And lastly, there seems to be a gap between the tabbed ring and the adapter. Did you have this gap?
