The gray sideskirts on my '94 e36 are dull, faded and uneven in color. Any advice on how o get them looking good again without stipping the paint? i thought bavarian auto sold a product, but I can't find it.
Thanks in advance.

An even cheaper solution would be buying black or grey bumper spray paint from an auto parts store. I did this to my car about 5 months ago and it has held up great. My skirts looked like sit before but after the touch up it looked good as new. A $5 can of bumper paint can be an easy inexpensive fix. You can click my sig pic to see how it looks.

Ish,
That does look good. Did you use grey or black paint? The pics look sort of look like charcoal. Additionaly, how was the surface finish after spraying? I would be afraid of sags or "sandy" underspray.
Like the wheels.
Thanks,

Thanks for the compliments. When i did it I was super lazy and did no prep to the skirts whatsoever. I just masked off the body and tires with newspaper and sprayed three even coats. I honestly wasnt thinkin it would turn out that hot but i just needed that gray to be gone. I turned out way better than i could have hoped. It applied evenly and left a smooth finish. Hasnt faded and washes easy as hell. The color i used was "bumper black" iirc and i got it at Advanced Auto. I attached a pic showing the change. Good luck gettin that gray gone.

don't paint the skirts black or grey. just get some heavy duty grease remover and scrub off the grey. I did it on my car. There is paint under the grey stuff that will match the rest of your car. I believe there is a write-up somewhere on the e36diy site.

just wax the skirts like you do the whole car. makes a big difference.
