Any anyone had their leather seats re-dyed? The dealership is recommending this to "fix" the discoloration on my 2000 540i. Only one seat is discolored and we can't seem to clean it. It is tan leather.
Any comments appreciated.

I want to know about that too. I have a spot on my seat with no color.

The dealer re-dye won't last very long....They did it on my 325is..and it lasted about a year...I heard that leatherique is the sh-t and lasts long. I hav't tried it though...might want to try a search....

I had a client who repaired cellphone damage to the bolster on my 911 and he spray painted it to match. He had an exclusive contract at the local lexus dealer respraying the leather in lease and trade in vehicles for resale. Seems to really make them look new.

I'd like a quality job on this - not something that is good for a year! Spray paint might be the hot ticket to get the car off of the dealer's lot but not what I'm looking for. I'm still not sure this is needed either as I only have the dealership's recommendations.
leatherique is the only way to go. Check out their Website:

Try www.liquidleather.com I redyed the bolsters on the drivers side seat over 2 years ago and they still look great. They are Dove grey, a perfect match to the original. :)
