I see brad from evosport post that PSS9 bottom out, that HR kit is better, then i see HR are too stiff and PSS9 are better, then GC is only for track (seems to be the way everyone thinks).. so what is it..?

if you were to lower a car and just have it for a more sporty look with 19" HRS 546R rims for street use, what would you do??

1. HR Springs?
2. HR Coilover Kit?
3. PSS9 Coilover Kit?
4. Eibach springs?

So many people feel differently about this, and i believe that is cause no one wants to think they got the worst of the bunch, but does anyone have any experience or heard of opinions of people that have tried a few of them and prefer another..

based on what i read about HR, it seems that Brad at EVOSport says to use them, but then a person on roadfly had them and change to PSS9 becuase they were way to still...

Does HR have a new adjustable dampening kit out yet similar to the PSS9 ? I asked to them and they said no.. does someone else know otherwise..

thanks but i am just trying to make the right decision the first time... Hope you understand...

Well,

I have only used the PSS9s and so far I have had zero problems. From what I hear though, really strenuous use can cause the Bilstein shocks to slowly lose their lengevity, but mine are sill as new as the day I got them.

I don't think you can go wrong with the PSS9s or the H&Rs. Thus far though, I haven't heard much negativity on any of the coilovers you mentioned.

of course street is a possibilty with GC. You can get springs suited to your needs. I went with a 500/550 setup for my car... IF you want something softer, just order it. You can get a 400/450 spring kit that would make it soft. Or even softer...

Ground control lets you get the springs that you want. Harder or Softer.

Have you considered other brands like KW, Vogtland, Sachs, Konis, Tein, Dixis? These brands are the mainstream brands of Germany, and Japan.

I think the problem with the people not liking GC is that they order the wrong springs. We are all performance minded and fool ourselves into thinking we need to get the max performance from everything. Unfortunately our roads are not in the best of shape and we soon learn to regret it.

The Pss9 is easier to adjust but the GC gives you the ability to increase the performance greatly without the need to redo every thing.

H&R is WAY stiff for street.

GC/TC-Kline is the way to go.
