I prefer the low gloss for the interior, but I can't find it anymore. how about an alternative?

View Full Version : where can I but Low Gloss Armor All??.... dieselm3 08-24-2003, 08:19 PM I prefer the low gloss for the interior, but I can't find it anymore. how about an alternative? Ps. I live in Boston. G. P. Burdell 08-25-2003, 06:43 AM Try Lexol Vinylex or 303 Aerospace Protectant. I use Vinylex - it contains UV protectants and gives a satin finish. Kramer 08-25-2003, 11:04 AM What he said... Lots of boating places in and around Boston. Pick one... LmtdSlip 08-25-2003, 11:06 AM I use Vinylex also. Its expensive but seems to do a good job. I have used 303 in the past and liked it as well. Armorall is crap as it washes away too easy and remains greasy. Essex502 08-26-2003, 09:52 AM ArmorAll also out-gasses badly and you'll find a hazy film on the inside of your windows after a coupla' days. Use the 303 Protectant - (See other thread) 10kken 08-26-2003, 11:27 AM Places that sell canoes and kayaks, as well as quality auto parts stores, are likely to have 303, since these boats are plastic and need the same type of treatment as dash boards and other interior car parts. Try EMS, or the Ski Market. |
