Anyone tell me a simple way to take the emergency brake handle off? I have a chrome replacement I would like to install.

I installed this, there's no real beautiful way to do it. The black rubber handle is a friction fit just like the shifter knob, this was very difficult for me to pull of but it is just the case none-the-less. Brace yourself and pull hard, I twisted before pulling, made it easier.

Let me know if you need something more clear.

I took a razor and cut one slit on top and on bottom and peeled it off.

My oem is leather not rubber but I assume it's friction held and I will need to twist and pull

Well you said your black rubber handle. Just making sure both leather and rubber were installed the same way. Thanks. I do appreciate your help.

I had to use vise grips to get mine off, just keep twisting and pulling at the same time.

Marv, I had no idea you were a CF freak like me... I have CF every where, CF wheel too... what's yours? BTW, I like your e-brake handles. I was never able to find those CF ones, only ones that weren't as tasteful... let me know if you have an extra/where to get them. My friend broke my CF shifter (don't ask) so I'm using my friggin' old one again. Sigh.
