I'm going into Dallas to bring my ACS wheels in for refurb and polished barrels and work on some turbo business so Steffen, Mick (new owner), Toni (new owner) and myself are meeting this Thursday evening at 17:30 at one of the DFW Airport observation pads at the end of the runway. Just a quick meet to welcome Mick & Toni to the insanity and socialize. Figured there may be others that might want to join. Probably hang out til apx 8pm and I'm headed west for 200 miles home. Anyone game? This will be a good photo shoot. Your car has to be clean!! Mandatory.

I found myself out running (driving at "slightly" elevated speeds) this evening, trying to get home before the big storm hit. We it not for a slow poke at a stop light, I would have got the car in the garage. All hell broke lose about a mile from the house... Green sky, wall cloud and small branches flying. Got the car a little damp but I wiped it down quickly. Should be fairly clean tomorrow. I lost 24 feet of fence and the top half of a mature oak... but the car is safe.

I was thinking tomorrow we can meet at DFW and then maybe a stop a Wilhoites in Grapevine on Main...(willhoites dot com) Its a well known spot frequented by the affluent Harley crowd. Maybe we can get some good parking out front. See you all tomorrow.

Greg and Steffen - when you get the group together, just do a quick run over to Mt. Dora and I'll add my two. With what it took you to get across Alabama, it would only take you a couple of hours to get here!!

hehehehehehehe!!!!!!

Hey Rog.....shhhhhhh, they may still be looking for us!! If anyone watched the news today, you would see that most of Texas got the $hit knocked out of it with storms. I pulled over once on the way there to let the storm leave the city before I arrived, by wx reports most of the city was under water with flash flooding. Cleared some for the afternoon and then started up again. I'm sure we will see some more in the news tomorrow. Anyway, it did not make for good pics, but got a few anyway. Steffen and I showed up with rain dirty cars and Mick showed up with his spotless. I think he pulled over around the corner to wipe his down real quick! A very nice car, low mileage and a great buy. All it needs is the "tweek" mods- suspension, chips, LKM, HID's, etc. The original paint looks like the car was kept under the covers in the bedroom! Mick is a great guy, won't take long to turn him into a sicky like the rest of us. Baited another Mustang on the way home. I had my V1, I guess he didn't. Last rip I got a Charger nailed. Those red/blue lights are pretty at night, especially when they're behind someone else! Dropped my ACS wheels for full refurb and barrel polish. Trip back next week to pick them up. Enjoy the patriotic pictures-

You're about three trips short this direction! Actually four since I brought two last year. We will be making a "quick" trip this year, not sure I'm traveling with all those folks who got me a ticket last year. I'm riding in the back this time!! I just put the new 3.15LS diff in the TT and it cruuuuissses on the highway now. As soon as my wheels are done I'll be able to take it out for a ride. Right now it's sitting on stock wheels and I won't take it out in public that way!!
