Thanx JJ dougkm 08-25-2003, 01:12 PM I've got clear reflectors. Bham BMW M3 08-25-2003, 05:01 PM Thanks guys beowoulf 08-25-2003, 11:35 PM I've heard the clears are a pain to install becasue they tend to break. Is there a specific one that is better than the others? tec548 08-26-2003, 09:19 AM I'm pretty sure that no matter who you buy them from they are from the same manufacturer. They are an easy install... however, the removal of the stock ones will make you pull your hair out. The easyist way to remove them without scratching paint or breaking the stock marker is to go through the wheel well and remove from the backside. They have two spring loaded catches on the back. This is what holds them in and causes your headaches. Bham BMW M3 08-26-2003, 10:11 AM Well your right. The clear ones I got BROKE when i was trying to get them in. Does anyone know who sells OEM Clears ( Arent they clear in Europe?) Im sure they would be more durable than these were. The stock reflectors were very wasy to get back in. Thanx sheefo2k 08-27-2003, 10:59 PM in europe i dont even think they have reflectors on the side.. i think so beowoulf 08-28-2003, 12:03 AM I think the trick with the clears is that you have to file off some of the tabs so it goes in easier. Force will break them every time. potpie 08-28-2003, 12:09 AM i think clears are the worst on light colored cars. |
