Running errands, took a short trip of about 20 miles last week. Climbed in after the last stop for the return home; car started but would not run. Attempts to keep it running were unsuccessful. I waited for Roadside Assist for about an hour; the fellow who arrived climbed in, turned the key, car started and ran without any further problem. The car has run just fine since the incident. Someone suggested vapor lock. Anyone had a similar experience, or know what the cause could be? Thanks!

Sounds more like it was a little flooded. If you start the car, drive a half mile and shut it off a half dozen times, sometimes too much fuel will get into the cylinders and it'll run crappy. Letting it sit for an hour may have allowed the fuel to evaporate enough to let it run properly.
