Shifting from 1st to 2nd and the car hesitated. It then surged forward and lit the EML light. Went off when I restarted the car twice. Dealer says to bring it in next week and they need to keep the car for a couple of days. Sounds bad.....drives ok now though.

There is a malfunction with the drive by wire system... Could be a problem with the stepper motors for the throttle bodies or idle control valve.
