Yea, I have a 2006 BMW X5 3.0i, and I'm just wondering how much would it cost for an auxiliary port for an ipod would cost? Or some iphone or ipod interface to be installed at the dealer.

Thanks!

You have a few choices for your X5.

OEM Axillary input
OEM iPod Hookup
Dice
Intravee II

If you have a non-nav X5 than the OEM stuff you will loose your CD-Changer. If you have NAV you get an extra setting. If would either go with the Intravee II or the Aux Input if I were you.

You are probably looking to spend $175.00 at the dealer for the part and install. If you do the install yourself you are looking at $50.00 and your time.

Another option could be purchasing outside of the dealer to save a bit on the parts, then having them install it. Certainly another option!
