I'm having a problem getting the shark fin antenna to work with my newly purchased XM Direct kit.
Everything works great if i use the supplied XM Antenna, but I would really like to use the stock antenna. I read that other X3 owners connected the tan and purple connector to their XM Direct (after shaving some tabs). I did this and the stereo display's "Antenna". I looked this up and it says if it displays that it means the antenna is unplugged.
I have also found 3 other connectors that fit but again using them I get a mixture of "Antenna" and "No Signal"
Am I doing something wrong or am I missing a Trick? I really hope someone knows...maybe you BavSound with all your expertise?!
I can post pictures if need be.
