Great for anyone 17-21 regardless of how well you drive.
The primary emphasis of the Tire Rack Street Survival® is a "hands-on" driving experience in real-world situations! We use your own car to teach you about its handling limits and how you can control them.
The students will become more observant of the traffic situation they find themselves in. They will learn to look far enough ahead to anticipate unwise actions of other drivers. As the students master the application of physics to drive their cars, they will make fewer unwise driving actions themselves. They will understand why they should always wear their own seatbelts, and why they should insist that their passengers wear seatbelts, too.
It's about more than driving - it's about LIVING!
Check the site on Monday to register.

Isn't the most wise driver? haha
purduinaM3 05-30-2009, 04:00 PM He's a fine driver, but the only car he's ever really driven is a Ford Taurus and he's been looking at E36 M3's as his next car. Just want him to have some real life experience being exposed to the limits on a closed course rather than on the street.

bmwcrazi24 05-31-2009, 11:40 PM Being only 17, but having raced for about the past 3 years, i fear that attending one of said events would bore the living LKJA:LFJ out of me. Not to be cocky, i think i would just rather spend the 60$ towards a track sesh. Good idea for younger female/overly-retarded male drivers.

I would show up in my M3 whip out the Hoosiers and get ready in line with a helmet and gloves.
Ask for an instructor and scare him within of his life.

So you started racing cars at the age of 14? :shifty

Indeed. I got a few shots at parillia 125cc karts, but i kinda got bored at the englishtown track, so i went to the local race track (wall speedway) and got myself some sponsors, a car, and a trailer. All on my own. At 15 i was straight shredding. Then at 16, a year and a half after getting the car, tearing it down and rebuilding everything bu the 5000$ motor, it exploded to pieces in a fireball, ending my legend racing career lol. 12g's in, 1500$ out. = Investment FAIL:mad

^^ the day she blew to pieces. too bad i was running 5/25....oh well. BMW's are more fun anyway, and road-racing is more of a challenge.
